Bangalore: Primary and high school teachers awaiting transfer have finally received good news. The revised schedule for the transfer of primary and high school teachers, which was postponed due to technical reasons, is likely to be announced in the second week of August
The transfer process will begin immediately after the list is published. The School Education Department has made preparations to complete the transfer process within the next month.
According to this first schedule of the School Education Department, the transfer process was to be completed in the 3rd week of July itself. However, permission has been given to 4134 new bilingual medium schools in the state. LKG, UKG have been started in 5,000 schools. The government has given top priority to assigning teachers to these schools. Thus, the general transfer list for 2024-25 has been revised.
Teachers in pre-primary classes, LKG, UKG learning and bilingual medium classes should be given first priority. The current transfer list has been prepared on the basis of teachers available as of last December and their service marks. The total number of teachers who will be available for transfer will be known in a couple of days. Therefore, it is said that the revised transfer schedule is likely to be published in the second week of August.
